Resident Evil 6, from what I've observed, heavily borrowed from Gears of War. The squad-based gameplay, helicopter sequences, urban combat settings, colossal boss creatures, and similar architectural designs are strikingly similar.
Revelations 2's gameplay mechanics closely mirrored The Last of Us, in my opinion. Crafting systems, enemy types, environmental hazards, and even story elements showed a clear resemblance. A dam setting, toxic areas, a snowy environment, a workbench, an aged mentor figure and an immune child were all present in both games.
The Shadows of Rose expansion for Resident Evil 8, a rather tedious addition, included a house reminiscent of P.T., and the use of mannequins and slow, deliberate movement echoed Silent Hill's nurses. Rosemary's rebirth paralleled Heather's in Silent Hill 3, making the parallels undeniable. The expansion also shamelessly repeated aspects of Resident Evil 4.
Resident Evil 7 drew inspiration from various horror films, including Evil Dead, Saw, The Ring and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Even the first Resident Evil game borrowed from Alone in the Dark, most notably the iconic window sequence.
Capcom's creative liberties seem questionable, leading to accusations of unoriginal work.
